From boring
abstracts to brainy audio
Bounding Entertainment's Paper-to-Audio MVP set out to change how academics interact with research. Using text-to-speech tech, it let users listen to abstracts, saving time and making multitasking a breeze.

Challenge
Academic students, and researchers face the daunting task of reading countless abstracts while hunting for that one golden nugget of relevance. It's a frustrating time drain that bogs down productivity and makes research feel like a never-ending hassle.

Solution

Access via Mobile and Web
A mobile app was designed for students, researchers, enabling them to listen to, upload, and share abstracts effortlessly. A complementary web admin interface facilitated professors and administrators in content editing, moderation and uploads.
Minimal Viable Branding
Even if Paper-to-audio is a minimum viable product, it has to look like a proper product, so we created a simple, yet elegant user interface. Building on the power of minimalism, colors, and typography we created a true product experience so there we left nothing in the way of a proper product validation.
Tailored User Roles and Interfaces Information Architecture
Distinct user roles ensure personalized experiences: students, researchers can focus on audio abstracts and sharing, professors can manage content conveniently via the website, and administrators have tools for moderation.
Enhanced Productivity with Multitasking
By converting text to speech, users can review abstracts while engaging in other activities, improving time efficiency and making research more accessible.
